The recent flooding in Kentucky has claimed the lives of at least six children.
According to reports from the local media, at least 25 individuals have lost their lives as a result of flooding in eastern Kentucky.
On Saturday morning, the Governor of Kentucky, Andy Beshear, said in a tweet that the number of fatalities had increased to at least 25.
In addition, he stated that “We’ve got some awful news to offer today” since the search and rescue operation is still ongoing in Eastern Kentucky. As of this moment, there have been 25 people dead, and it is anticipated that more will die.
Beshear, the governor of Kentucky, issued the following statement to the residents of Eastern Kentucky: “To everyone in Eastern Kentucky, we are going to be there for you today, and in the weeks, months, and years to come. Together, we can get through this.”
