According to the archbishop of the Catholic Church, the most recent decision against abortion allows the United States of America to “build a culture of life.” [Create a culture of life]
On Friday, the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade was handed down, and the Archbishop of Baltimore, William Lori, expressed his gratitude for the decision, referring to it as a “historic verdict.”
Lori asserted that he and others, including others, have been praying for years to see the end of abortion being constitutionally allowed.
As Lori explained, the church, pro-life activists, and conservative politicians all need to take a stand now to protect the health and safety of all expectant mothers. In addition, Lori stated that progress toward a more ideal society was still a very long way off.
In a statement that he gave to the Vatican’s department of the press, Lori stressed that it is possible for there to be a new culture of life and a reengagement with our fellow people. This presents us with the additional task of stepping up our efforts to support pregnant women who are experiencing challenges and to protect the health of the mother as well as the unborn child.
