On occasions it's quite difficult to believe that sex in marriage is such a common issue but yes, it is. Human hormones are not the same, the same as our desires. As you may know, sexual desire varies from person to person and often couples will have different levels of interest in sex. Some reason could be their environment, previous life experience, or something else. When these differences cannot be managed together then conflict or avoidance around the topic can arise which could lead to less than 10 times per year having intercourse with one another. Such avoidance and denial of sex are called Sexless Marriage.
