South Carolina’s primary results put McMaster against Cunningham for governor.

McMaster, who is 75 years old, wants to become the governor of South Carolina and has served the state for the longest period, whereas Cunningham, who is 40 years old, wants to become the governor of South Carolina and is the youngest person to have ever served the state in that manner.

In the Democratic primary election held on Tuesday, Joe Cunningham, a Democrat, was victorious and won the nomination for the position of governor of South Carolina on the Democratic ticket. In the general election, he will go up against the Republican incumbent Henry McMaster, who won the nomination for his party in the primary election with a decisive victory.

Cunningham, who is forty years old, has made it a point to contrast his age and social consciousness with that of McMaster, who is seventy-five years old. McMaster is an elder and has more life experience under his belt. The usage of marijuana, the handling of transgender athletes, gambling, and abortion are just some of the state social issues that are on Cunningham’s list of goals to accomplish.

“McMaster is a previous governor who is now serving in his present post. He has held this job for some time. My bid to succeed this current governor as this state’s next chief executive officer is now officially underway, and” Following Cunningham’s victory, he made the following observation:
