A woman from South Carolina was shot and killed in a grocery store parking lot following an argument with a stranger on Valentine’s Day. According to the report, Tyler Borys claimed his wife, 26-year-old Alexandria Cress Borys, was arguing with a stranger while loading groceries into her car at the Kroger in Irmo, South Carolina.
The unknown person, later identified by Irmo police as 23-year-old Christina Harrison, allegedly reached for a revolver after the argument ended and shot Borys in the back. She was shot while a 2-year-old and a couple’s baby were in the car.
The incident happened on Tuesday at about 4 p.m., according to the Irmo Police Department. Shortly later, police came to the scene and declared Borys dead. Irmo police said that after talking to witnesses and watching security footage, they discovered that the two women didn’t know each other and had a verbal fight before the shooting. It’s not clear what sparked the fight or what the two women were debating.

“Sadly, this is a case where someone’s fury got the better of them and tempers erupted.” “The lives of two families and numerous others who witnessed this awful occurrence were affected by one hasty action.” Bobby Dale, the police chief of Irmo, stated on Facebook. “The only word that comes to me to describe what happened today is senseless.”
Harrison first ran away from the parking lot but called the police at 5:30 to report herself. Tuesday night, she was checked into the Lexington County Correctional Facility.
According to inmate records, Harrison is accused of murder, carrying a gun without a license, and having a weapon while committing a violent felony.
According to The New York Post, Harrison was supposed to appear in court on Wednesday, but her private attorney canceled the session.
