It appears that Tonavian Wilson was left “dumbfounded” as a result of inaccuracy in one of his texts.

A man in South Carolina who was attempting to sell a gun and some narcotics were taken into custody when he allegedly sent a text message to a police officer by accident.

After texting the “wrong number,” Tondavian Wilson, 31, attempted to sell firearms and marijuana to a deputy with the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office on Monday. The officer confronted Wilson as he attempted to make the sale.

The deputies and Wilson engaged in what is known as a “text exchange” over the price of the gun and the quantity of marijuana that was sought.

Experts claim that proposed gun restriction measures lack proof that they reduce crime.
