The suspect in the incident in Florence, Kentucky, left the scene but was later discovered suffering from what seemed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Following a shooting in Kentucky early on Saturday, at least four persons and one suspect are dead, according to Fox 19, which cites the Florence Police Department.
The incident happened at a house on Ridgecrest Drive at approximately three in the morning.
After receiving reports reporting an active shooter, police were dispatched to the location.
At least four bodies were discovered at the location, along with numerous injuries.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a vehicle, sparking a police chase, but crashed into a ditch on Dale Heimbrock Way near Hicks Pike.
He was found by police with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound and was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
