An apparent case of road rage catalyzed the altercation.

The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office released a video on April 17 showing a man and a woman getting struck by a car in Seattle’s Pike Place Market. The event occurred near what appears to have been an instance of road rage.

According to information provided by KIRO, the investigators believe that the event was sparked by a disagreement between the individuals behind the wheel of a van and a Toyota SUV. According to the testimonies of the witnesses, the altercation became hostile after the driver of the van threw water at the driver of the Toyota.
