Donald Trump backed Tim Michels in the Republican primary for governor of Wisconsin, while he campaigned against Rebecca Kleefisch, a candidate who had previously served in the position of lieutenant governor.

Rebecca Kleefisch, a former two-term lieutenant governor of Wisconsin, was unable to get the endorsement of former President Donald Trump, but she is certain that she will win the Republican gubernatorial primary on August 9 and defeat Democrat Tony Evers. Evers is a candidate for governor of Wisconsin and is seeking office.

In an interview with The News God, Kleefisch predicted that he will win the general election and added that if he wins the primary, “we will make Wisconsin a model for a conservative policy revolution.” Kleefisch was referring to the potential transformation of Wisconsin into a model for conservative policy revolutions. This statement was made by Kleefisch after he had previously projected that he would win the primary.
