Chelsea’s 9 games unbeaten run came to a premature end at the American Express Community Stadium when Chelsea were defeated 4-1 by Brighton.

The blues were 2 goals down in the first 15 minutes of halftime. The host added their third goal of the first half in the 42nd minute.

Raheem Sterling lost possession on numerous occasions and was ineffective throughout the first half. Mason Mount, who was supposed to be the creative spark in the team was nowhere to be found.
