The alleged assault on Payton Gendron has been designated by the FBI as an instance of “racially motivated violent extremism.”
He arrived in Buffalo, New York, this morning and spoke with the relatives of those who had been killed and injured in the mass shooting that took place over the weekend. The incident, which investigators are describing as a hate-fueled mass shooting and which left ten people dead and three others wounded, took place.
The philosophy of white supremacy, which the alleged shooter adhered to, was described by President Biden as “a disease flowing through our system of government.”
I can tell you that in the United States of America, evil will not prevail, as President Biden stated. “Hatred will never prevail. White supremacy is on its way to becoming a thing of the past. There was nefarious activity in Buffalo. Simply said, there are an excessive number of locations where it has been observed.”

First Lady Jill Biden accompanied her husband to the City of Good Neighbors.
It is believed that Gendron carried an AR-15 rifle into the store while also wearing a camera that was attached to his helmet. He then opened fire on unarmed customers, including a former Buffalo police officer named Aaron Salter, who was killed in the attack. Gendron is believed to have shot and killed Salter.
According to Biden, the firearm that was used in the incident was allegedly modified in violation of New York state’s stringent SAFE Act and installed with a 30-round magazine. Biden also asked for more stringent gun control measures to be passed by Congress.
“We can keep assault weapons off of our streets,” Biden is reported as saying. In the past, “It’s been done.”
