A guy was fatally shot and killed by Atlanta police on Wednesday night during the height of the dinner rush. According to the police, the man had opened fire on the security guard who was escorting him out of a well-known Brazilian steakhouse.
According to The News God, the incident took place about 7:15 p.m. at the Fogo de Cho Brazilian Steakhouse located in the 3100 block of Piedmont Road NE. The restaurant was in the process of winding down its shift.
According to Atlanta police Deputy Chief Charles Hampton Jr., a restaurant employee dialed 911 to request assistance in dealing with an “unruly” guest who was in the bar area. The “armed man” was described as being in the restaurant. Several of the descriptions provided by witnesses included words like “rowdy” and drinking directly from the bottle of alcohol.
