It has now been reported that images of soldiers of the Texas Army National Guard who went missing in Eagle Pass while attempting to rescue migrants have been released.
Bishop E. Evans, 22, of Arlington, Texas, has been identified as the soldier. He went missing on Friday after plunging into an Eagle Pass river to save two migrants who were apparently in danger of drowning while trying an illegal border crossing from Mexico into the United States. The cause of his disappearance remains a mystery.
