The Democratic Mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, has accused two Republican governors of sending migrant buses to liberal towns in order to divert from and cover up their human rights abuses. As evidence, Mayor Adams cited the governors’ opinions on abortion and gun control.
“In any case, I believe that it is a message for the entirety of the nation. Adams made this comment while appearing on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday. “These are two governors that are concealing up some of the things they’ve done around gun control, which is actually a proliferation – multiplying our country with firearms,” Adams added.”
“It’s what they did with women’s right to choose,” Abbott continued, alluding to Republican Governors Greg Abbott of Texas and Ron DeSantis of Florida. “It’s what they did with the women’s right to choose.” “You know, this is their method of covering up what many people have been truly concerned about, and that is the loss of basic human rights,”
Following through on a promise he had made previously about sending illegal immigrants to progressive states, DeSantis sent 50 illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard in two planes this past Wednesday. This action drew criticism from the White House and Democrats in Congress, who referred to it as an “illegal stunt” and “human trafficking.”
