A survey was conducted among Republicans in the state of Wisconsin, and the results showed that climate change was ranked as the fourth most concerning issue.
According to the findings of a recent poll that was carried out in the crucial election state of Wisconsin, Democrats living in that state place the issue of climate change higher on their list of worries than inflation and the economy.
A poll that was conducted by Marquette University and published on Wednesday found that the majority of Democratic voters in Wisconsin identified the threat posed by climate change as their primary concern. Liberals were more concerned about other issues, such as public schools, gun violence, and abortion rights, than they were about inflation.
Despite inflation hitting a 40-year high of 9.1% in June, registered voters have declared that they are more concerned about the environment than they are about inflation. The gross domestic product (GDP) fell for the second consecutive quarter in July, and the economy officially entered a technical recession as a result of the skyrocketing costs of consumer goods and petroleum.
In Wisconsin, the problem of inflation was viewed as the most important worry by 91% of Republican voters and 67% of independent voters. Republicans listed the subject of climate change as the one that concerned them the least.
