According to the US Geological Survey, a preliminary 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck northern Sonoma County near the Lake County line late Monday morning.
The earthquake struck at 11:50 a.m. According to the USGS, the storm was centered 4.7 miles south of Cobb, 12.7 miles northeast of Healdsburg, and 14.9 miles south-southwest of Clearlake.
