John Dzwonkowski, 38, is suspected of stealing cleaning supplies, soaps, lotions, razors, and toilet paper.
Three times in one week, a Milwaukee man is alleged to have stolen goods from the same Walgreens shop. The majority of the products were soaps, toilet paper, razors, lotions, and other home goods that are used for cleaning and sanitation.
According to Fox 6 and police records, John Dzwonkowski, 38, is currently being charged with two counts of felony retail theft.
According to a criminal complaint, Milwaukee police were originally called to a Howell Avenue shop on September 18.
When officers contacted with the business manager that morning, she informed them that at around 7:40 a.m., a “thief” broke into the establishment and started “removing soaps, cosmetics, and toilet paper and placing the items into a backpack.” The defendant then walked out of the store without paying for the item.”
According to the complaint, the stolen goods had a retail value of around $178.
Officers were summoned to the same Walgreens store only two days later after another accusation of theft, this time with the defendant “removing razors, lotions and other cosmetic items and placing them into two bags,” the complaint alleges. This time, $435 worth of items was taken.
Then on Sept. 25, footage from a surveillance camera shows the same defendant at the same Walgreens stealing “107 cleaning and household good items valued at $889.63 in a black garbage bag,” according to the complaint.
After first leaving the business, the defendant is said to have gone back inside, “walked to the soda cooler, grabbed a 20 oz. soda, and walked out of the Walgreens without paying for the soda.”
According to court documents, Dzwonkowski was supposed to make his first appearance this week.
