Last week, seven people who worked at a call center in the Jardines Vallarta and La Estancia areas of Jalisco, Mexico, went missing.
This week, 45 bags of human remains were recovered in Jalisco, Mexico. The remains resemble missing young contact center workers, according to state officials.
The Jalisco Prosecutor’s Office stated the bodies were located in Zapopan when persons were being searched. Before being identified, the victims uncovered in a 40-meter ditch must undergo forensic testing.
Seven call center employees from Jardines Vallarta and La Estancia, Jalisco, went missing last week. The ensemble may be missing an eighth member.
The prosecutor’s office said the remains resemble certain missing people. Authorities are searching since it is unknown if the remains are theirs.
The remains in the bags are being analyzed to identify the number of bodies, their names, and their causes of death. Male and female remains were found.
After receiving a tip, Zapopan police searched the Mirador del Bosque ravine on Tuesday for traces of the missing group. Authorities began searching after finding a black plastic bag with human remains.
Prosecutors said that the probe was hard because of the terrain and the lack of sunlight.
Investigations are still going on.
