The Destroyer Class is set to make its way to Lost Ark.
The Destroyer Advanced Class will arrive in Lost Ark on May 19. Armed with hammer attacks that are catastrophically crushing and a slew of skills centered around charging smackdab into the midst of chaos, Destroyers are a force to be reckoned with. As Destroyers can bend gravity at their will, they can launch, slow, push, and pull enemies to destroy them. We currently have three Advanced Warrior classes (Berserker, Paladin, Gunlancer), and the Destroyer is set to be the fourth addition to the fray. If you’re looking for a unique way to change the variety in how you farm Lost Ark currency, perhaps going for the Destroyer might be the perfect option.
Disclaimer: Please keep in mind that the Destroyer Advanced Class includes the recently made rework in other regions outside the West.
General Overview of the Destroyer
Since the Destroyer belongs in the Warrior Class, you can expect it to be as tanky as the other Advanced Class options. The name ” Destroyer ” accurately describes what this class can do on the battlefield with a meaty health bar, the ability to generate shields, and attacks that deal Stagger damage. Since the class uses heavy-hitting attacks, the hulking warrior needs to be toted around due to the weight of his Gravity Hammer. It’s safe to say that the Destroyer’s overall speed is low, but don’t let that fool you – some of his skills allow him to use bursts of speeds to charge or leap into the fray. Indeed, you can earn tons of Lost Ark gold by simpling doing easy work on the mobs.
While the Lost Ark trade-off of the Destroyer’s attack and movement speed is due to his bulk, he can manipulate gravity. Through this ability, he can move effortlessly, whereas his enemies will be weakened and slowed. Who needs to move at all when you can pull enemies toward you? The Destroyer’s attacks require charging up, but they hit especially hard when consuming Gravity Cores.
The Destroyer’s Skills: Gravity Release Skills and Concentration Skills
The Destroyer’s skills are separated into Gravity Release Skills and Concentration Skills. The Gravity Release Skills consume all of the Gravity Cores that you’ve charged up and generate a shield and increase the damage output of your attack. Meanwhile, Concentration Skills allow the destroyer to charge up to three Gravity Cores.
If you use a single Gravity Core, you’ll be granted an additional 10% of your maximum HP (to be used as a temporary shield) and a 10% damage bonus for the Gravity Release skill used. Should you use two Gravity Cores, you’ll be granted a 25% damage bonus for the skill and 20% of max HP as a shield. Finally, using three Gravity Cores grants the Desotryer a 45% damage increase for the skill and 30% of maximum HP as a shield.
The skills can be easily identified by their color. Gravity Release Skills are purple, and Concentration Skills that charge up Gravity Cores are blue. Balance these skills and spend your Gravity Cores wisely to maximize your damage output as much as you can.

Gravity Release Skills |
|
Skill Name | Description |
One-Man Army | Swings the hammer sideways and inflicts up to six blows. The damage increases with each blow. |
Earth Eater | Smashes the ground behind you and then delivers a horizontal swing, with chunks of rock following the hammer. The hammer will spin three times, each spin inflicting damage. |
Neutralizer | Imbues your hammer with gravitational energy. It’ll cause a shockwave within an 8-meter radius if you swing it downward. Using the skill again to hit the ground two more times will inflict more damage. |
Perfect Swing | You can charge this skill for two seconds. You’ll advance three meters forward when used midway to charge at foes and inflict damage. A powerful smash will follow this. If this skill is overcharged (four seconds), you’ll move four meters forward and deliver a deadlier blow. |
Full Swing | Strike behind you with the hammer and spin 360 degrees. You’ll be attacking the foes surrounding you three times total. You’ll do more damage if you overcharge Full Swing. |
Gravity Compression | Thrust the handle of your hammer to release a gravitational wave. Hold for two seconds to create a black hole that inflicts damage for nine hits. If you stop holding before the Holding Meter is maxed out, the black hole will explode and deal damage to enemies within a 5-meter radius. If you max out the Holding Meter, you’ll damage foes within a 6-meter radius. |
Seismic Hammer | The Seismic Hammer lets you jump and smash the ground by holding your hammer upside down. The crash will form a corn-shaped wall that’s 11-meter in length. |
Concentration Skills |
|
Skill Name | Description |
Power Strike | Raises your hammer above your head and smashes the ground three times. Each smash inflicts damage. |
Power Shoulder | Crouch and charge five meters forward with your hammer in front of you. You can use this skill as a combo to launch enemies up in the air. |
Earth Smasher | Swing the hammer in a circular motion above your head and strike the ground. This creates a huge boulder and deals damage. Swing at the boulder to break it and propel the fragments in a cone-shaped blast. |
Dreadnaught | Begins by doing a stance with the hammer on their shoulder. By concentrating energy on your Cores, you can hit the ground and send a shockwave to use as a momentum to jump high. Once airborne, slam your hammer down and onto your foes. |
Endure Pain | Let out a roar that damages enemies within a 6-meter radius. You’ll gain a buff that makes you immune to Pushes and reduces any incoming damage once this skill is used. |
Running Crash | Holt to sprint forward to charge toward foes. Upon releasing the skill, the gravitational energy around you will explode or launch the foes in the air (if the Holding Meter is maxed). |
Heavy Crush | Smash the ground with enormous gravitational force to deal damage. |
Jumping Smash | Leap to a location or target (within 10 meters) and swing your hammer to the ground. |
Gravity Impact | Strike your hammer down and inject gravitational energy from where you stand. Pull and attack foes eight times, then combust the energy, pulling all of the enemies to you. |
Gravity Force | Swing your hammer at the foes in front of you. Your hammer will then release gravitational energy, attacking foes in a straight line seven times for damage and pulling them close. |
