This week, Richard Moore made his court debut on the alleged 1984 abduction, sexual assault, and homicide of Madeline Garcia.
Detectives in California have taken into custody a guy who, at the age of 19, is accused of sexually abusing and killing an elderly woman in 1984.
Prior to his arrest last month, Richard Moore lived under the nickname “Woody” or “Woody on Fairbanks,” according to the Sacramento News & Review.
Moore, who is currently 59 years old, entered a not guilty plea to the murder, kidnapping, and rape charges related to the death of Madeline Garcia, 69, according to a news statement from the Placer County District Attorney’s Office. Authorities said on Monday that Moore was arraigned this week.
Evidence gathered at the location, which was located in Roseville on Atlantic and Branstetter streets, showed that Garcia’s assailant had carried her into an alley, where she had been repeatedly struck to death.
