Liverpool lost the Premier League title to Manchester City on the final day of the Premier League. there was only one point difference between Liverpool and Champions Manchester City.
Jurgen Klopp’s side will start their Premier League title challenge against newly-promoted side Fulham away from home at Craven Cottage on Saturday 6 August. Liverpool will play their first home game in the Premier League against Crystal Palace on 13 August.
The Reds made a statement of intent to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League with the signing of Darwin Nunez for €100 million from Benfica.

The Merseyside derby against Everton will be on the 3 September at Goodison Park with the return fixture on 11 February at Anfield. Liverpool will host Manchester City at Anfield on 15 October for the first leg of the perceived title decided with the reverse fixture on 1 April.
