From 2014 until 2019, Jones was a cast member and writer on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live. She is now the presenter of Supermarket Sweep. Jones got her to start in stand-up comedy in college in 1987 when a friend entered her in a “Funniest Person on Campus” competition.
