Maya Millete was last seen leaving her residence in Chula Vista, California, on the 7th day of January, 2021.
In a lawsuit that was filed on May 6th, the parents of Larry Millete, who was arrested and accused of murdering his wife the previous year, claim that their civil rights were violated by police officers in Chula Vista while the officers were serving search warrants on their property.

In October of last year, after months of investigation by the Chula Vista Police Department, the FBI, and NCIS, Larry Millete was taken into custody and charged with unlawful possession of an assault weapon as well as first-degree murder.
