Fentanyl overdoses have claimed the lives of an unprecedented number of people.
On Tuesday, deputies from the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office arrested a drug dealer who had 15 pounds of fentanyl, 2.2 pounds of heroin, and $139,000 in cash. The arrest took place outside of an Oakland high school.
Because they were less than one thousand feet away from Mclymonds High School when they were arrested, the sheriff’s office reports that four suspects have been brought into the jail and will be subject to additional charges.
