La Liga chief Javier Tebas has revealed that Barcelona cannot sign Robert Lewandoski from Bayern Munich. according to the La Liga Chief, Barcelona can only sign the Polish captain if they sell at least one player to free up space on their wage bill.
Robert Lewandoski had been linked with a move from the Allianz Arena this summer and Barcelona is seen as the preferred destination for 33 years old.
Lewandowski on Monday at a press conference on international duty that his Bayern career is over and he is seeking a new challenge.
The 33 years old said: My era at Bayern is over.
“I don’t see any possibility to continue playing for this club anymore.
“Bayern’s a serious club and I believe they won’t keep me, I don’t want to play there anymore. A transfer is the best solution. I hope they don’t stop me.”
There are reports that Robert Lewandoski is willing to take a pay cut to join Barcelona this summer.

“They know what they have to do – sell assets and earn more, this is what they have to do.
“Barca has had many accumulated losses in the last tax years, some of which could have been avoided and they have to stock the pantry.
“Just as Madrid has stocked up, Barcelona has emptied it. Today they cannot sign him (Lewandowski).”
