President Biden has announced that he will not be seeking an increase in oil production from Saudi Arabia while he is there, despite the recent spike in the price of oil. This request comes even though Saudi Arabia is the world’s largest oil producer.

On Thursday, the President of the United States, Joe Biden, suggested that “Russia” may be to blame for the sky-high gas prices in the United States. This remark came after Biden indicated that pushing Saudi Arabian authorities to enhance oil output was “not the goal of the trip.” This remark was in response to Biden’s statement.

During a very unusual press conference that took place on Thursday in Spain on the sidelines of the NATO meeting, the President of the United States fielded questions from reporters on a wide range of topics, including the rate of inflation in the United States and the ongoing support that the country provides for Ukraine.

People questioned resident Biden about his plans to increase oil production with Saudi Arabia’s crown prince, who is the de facto leader of the country, during his visit the following month. They also inquired about how he plans to hold Saudi Arabia accountable for its violations of human rights.
