Siri was able to execute several commands simultaneously with the release of iOS 17.
It has been decided that the “Hey Siri” activation phrase will no longer be available once iOS 17 is released.
Apple confirmed during yesterday’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), as reported by Apple Insider (Opens in a new window), and as was expected back in November of last year that it will erase the “Hey” and allow users to speak “Siri” to start its virtual assistant rather than having to say “Hey Siri.” Users of Siri will soon be able to issue many requests quickly, eliminating the need to continually activate the assistant while doing activities that include several individual stages.
Even though these upgrades are scheduled to be released in September, users of Apple devices that are running iOS 17 or iPadOS 17, respectively, will be obliged to do so to take advantage of the decreased trigger phrase and the flexibility to issue multiple commands. You may feel better right away, however. Users of Apple’s Mac computers may likewise use these benefits, but only on Macs that include Apple Silicon. The second generation of AirPods Pro will also have access to these features when they are released.
Apple’s latest mobile operating systems are intriguing not just because of the shorter length of the trigger phrase but also for several other reasons. In point of fact, we can’t wait to test out all 12 new features included in iOS 17 and iPadOS 17. Additionally, WatchOS 10 brings several helpful new features to the Apple Watch.
