On Saturday night in New York City, police reported that two people, one of whom was a man and the other of whom was a teen, were shot and died in separate incidents, adding to the growing pandemic of deaths among young people caused by gun violence.
According to The News God, authorities found an 18-year-old victim with two gunshot wounds to the head shortly before midnight after receiving a “shots fired” dispatch call. According to the news station, the victim had been shot twice.
