While attempting to flee the scene, a burglar in Seattle accidentally shot himself in the head.

Additionally, the suspect is accused of a slew of additional offenses, one of which is unlawfully holding a firearm in violation of the law, which is being investigated further.

When the man attempted to flee from the scene of the break-in, he accidentally shot himself in the head, and he was transported to the hospital for medical care.

A resident of Seattle reported hearing noises coming from his garage in the early hours of Wednesday morning and phoned the police to investigate.


Once inside his garage, the victim noticed an unidentified masked assailant who quickly fled after being discovered. Using a broom, the victim chased the suspect into a parking lot, where the suspect fled in his van.
