One person was killed and four people were injured in a shooting that took place in the downtown area of Chicago on the evening of Thursday, according to the Chicago Police Department.
Tom Ahern, a spokesman for the police department, stated that the incident took place in the 800 block of North State Street at approximately 10:40 p.m. local time.
