During the exes’ testimonies, Hunter Biden’s rapidly worsening crack cocaine addiction takes center stage.
As the jury considers the first son’s three felony charges related to the purchase of a revolver in 2018, details about Hunter Biden’s relationship with a 24-year-old stripper, his need for crack cocaine every 20 minutes, and how his spiraling addiction destroyed his first marriage were all on full display.
In court on Wednesday, Biden’s ex-girlfriend Zoe Kestan stated, “He would want to smoke the second he woke up.” When she was 24 and he was 48, she met Biden while working at a gentleman’s club in New York City.
The prosecution attempted to convince the jury that Biden had lied about his drug addiction when he had filled out a federal form in order to purchase a Colt revolver gun in 2018. On Wednesday, the court heard additional testimony from FBI special agent Erika Jensen, as well as from Biden’s ex-wife Kathleen Buhle, Kestan, and gun store employee Gordon Cleveland.
Biden is accused of providing false information while purchasing a firearm, providing false information regarding records that a federally registered gun dealer is obliged to maintain, and possessing a firearm while abusing or dependent on a controlled drug.
