If you aren’t a major investor or employee of Meta (Facebook), then there’s a good chance you’ve never heard of the company’s Brazilian cofounder, Eduardo Saverin. Eduardo Saverin co-founded Facebook, now Meta, with Mark Zuckerburg in 2004 after they had met as classmates in Harvard.

Canada’s richest person is the cofounder of the famous grammar tool, Grammarly. He founded the company Alex Shevchenko and Dmytro Lider in 2009 and is currently the head of revenue. The three of them were born in Ukraine, and had later moved to Canada and obtained citizenship there.

Ranked $28th in the world and #1 in Germany, Dieter Schwarz is another lesser-known billionaire that is relatively high up on the list of billionaires. Dieter Schwarz made his fortune after turning his father’s small company he inherited into Europe’s largest retail conglomerate. Today, the Schwarz Group employs over 500,000 people.

- Tadashi Yanai
The richest person in Japan is Tadashi Yanai, and he is another benefactor of leading a large retail empire.
