Officials claim that a Georgia lady deliberately rammed her car into a Popeyes restaurant after her order inadvertently omitted biscuits.
Accusations of aggravated assault and first-degree criminal property damage were brought against Belinda H. Miller, 50.
Deputies from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office were sent to the Popeyes restaurant on Walton Way in Augusta after reports of an accident that hurt people.
According to the store manager, After discovering she had not received any biscuits with her order, Miller grew irate and crashed her SUV into a restaurant entrance.
Before the catastrophe, according to the manager, the eatery fixed the error and gave her the biscuits. According to the management, the woman allegedly called the store and threatened to drive her car into the building before the incident.
When Miller crashed into the shop, she came dangerously close to hitting an 18-year-old worker. Arrest warrants state that she drove into the store until some debris forced her to halt.
After crashing into the restaurant, the woman fled the scene and continued south on Gordon Highway. The damaged vehicle was later discovered at her residence.
On Wednesday, the woman was booked into the Charles B. Webster Correctional Center and issued a bond of more than $4,000. It is unknown whether she remains in detention.
