Many roads in eastern Bucks County had to be shut down because of the damage caused by heavy rain and following storms.
In Bucks County, Pennsylvania, on Saturday night, four people were killed, and four others are still missing as a result of flash floods caused by extreme rainfall. The Northeast is still facing disastrous weather conditions as of this writing.
According to reports from Fox 29, strong thunderstorms on Saturday afternoon between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. dropped up to four inches of rain on General Washington Memorial Boulevard in the area of Washington Crossing.
The automobiles that were parked along the bank of a nearby river were carried away by the floodwaters.
Officials confirmed to Fox 29 that four individuals had passed away and another four people were still missing as search teams worked through the night to locate the remaining victims.
