Authorities in Florida reported that a shooting on Friday resulted in the death of a sheriff’s officer and the injuries of two others.
At a press conference early on Saturday, Lake County Sheriff Peyton C. Grinnell stated that officers were called to a house on Brookside Drive in Eustis, Florida, at around 8 p.m. due to a disturbance, as reported by Fox 35.
“Ambushed,” Grinnell said. “We lost one tonight.”
