An emergency warning has been issued for an out of control bushfire in Nambeelup in Western Australia’s Peel region.
The alert applies to an area west of Bush Retreat, north of Lakes Road, east of Greyhound Retreat and south of Readheads Road, about 70km southeast of Perth.
There is a threat to lives and homes and residents must take immediate action.
Residents are being urged to leave now for a safer place if the way is clear, or prepare to shelter in their homes in a room with two exits and water such as a kitchen or laundry.
