Even though early voting for the primary election in Illinois has already begun in several counties, on Monday morning all fifty of Chicago’s wards will open for business at the same time.
Before this modification, the only place in Chicago where early voting could take place was at 191 North Clark Street, which is the location of the Chicago Board of Elections.
On Monday morning at nine o’clock, voting will get underway in all fifty polling locations, one in each of the city’s wards.
Regardless of whatever ward they live in, voters in Chicago can cast their ballots at any of the early voting stations located around the city. In addition, individuals have the opportunity to register to vote early and cast their ballots in person before the election that will take place on June 28.
