An individual who lives in Texas criticized the state legislature on Tuesday evening during a public session for what he believed to be a lack of response to the mass shooting that took place in Uvalde.
Bradley Hodges admonished the legislators after the Senate Special Committee to Protect All Texans had convened for 12 hours to discuss methods to make schools safer. The meeting’s purpose was to look into strategies to prevent school shootings.
“Does the educational system in Texas harbor any institutional biases that prevent it from supporting the implementation of preventive measures that are objectively acceptable?” During the open portion of the meeting, residents were allowed to address their issues directly to the representatives of the government.

According to him, the question that needs to be asked is, “Why are school officials and administrators not taking the protection of children seriously?”
