Donald Trump and three of his children will testify in a New York business fraud lawsuit soon.
On Friday, a court determined that Ivanka Trump, Mr Trump’s daughter, must testify in the lawsuit against her brothers and father.
She was removed from the case earlier this year, but her brothers Eric and Donald Jr were not.
The former president will testify on November 6 before his three children, according to the New York Attorney General’s Office.
Their testimony is scheduled to begin on Wednesday next week and will last three days.
Judge Arthur Engoron has already determined that Mr Trump exaggerated the worth of his properties in order to obtain favorable financing terms.
The trial will focus on six more accusations raised in the case, including fabrication of business documents, insurance fraud, and conspiracy.
Mr. Trump has previously stated that he will take the stand as soon as possible. He and the other accused have all disputed the charges.
His daughter Ivanka had previously declined to testify, claiming that she had relocated out of the city to Florida and had left the Trump Organization in 2017.
However, Judge Engoron stated that she still has ties to Trump enterprises and real estate in New York.
Prosecutors have contended that Ms Trump possesses crucial information about the events under investigation in the case.
Judge Engoron sided with the prosecutors in his order on Ivanka testifying on Friday, stating, “Ms Trump has clearly availed herself of the privilege of doing business in New York.”
He presented documentation proving that she still maintained ownership or managerial ties to various New York enterprises, as well as ownership of Manhattan homes.
New York Attorney General Letitia James, a Democrat, filed the civil fraud action against the former president.
Ms James is demanding $250 million (£205 million) in penalties as well as severe limitations on Mr Trump’s businesses.
Mr Trump, the Republican nominee for the 2024 race, has rejected the case as politically driven and a “sham.”
