According to Biden’s repeated assertions, since the ratification of the Second Amendment, no one has been able to purchase a cannon.

In the aftermath of the tragedy at Uvalde High School, President Biden has brought back a gun control talking point that has been disproved for a long time.

On the occasion of Memorial Day, President Biden reminded reporters that the Second Amendment, which was enacted in 1791 as a component of the Bill of Rights, did not permit the ownership of cannons at the time it was adopted.
