In February 2023, Willis’s family revealed that his aphasia had advanced to frontotemporal dementia.
Demi Moore provided an update on Bruce Willis’s condition. The actor has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.
The 49-year-old TV host talked about working with the 61-year-old actress on the 2003 film Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle during her Friday appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show. Willis appeared in a cameo at the beginning of the film.
Bruce came and played on our version of Charlie’s Angels, and he started the movie. And we had to work with him “Barrymore said.
“I mean, I knew him back when he was a bartender at the Cafe Central!” she exclaimed. “I have known him my whole life. How is he doing now?
Moore replied, “Considering everything, he is in a stable condition.”
The “Ghost” actress and Willis, 69, wed in 1987 and divorced in 2000. The ex-couple had three daughters together: Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Talullah, 30. The former couple have remained friendly since their split. Moore attended Willis’ 2009 wedding to his second wife, Emma Heming Willis, with whom he has two daughters, Evelyn, 10, and Mabel, 12.
In 2019, Moore was present as Willis and Emma celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary with a vow renewal ceremony.
Moore is also very close with Emma; the mixed family often gets together for holidays and birthday celebrations. During the COVID-19 pandemic 2020, the family was placed under quarantine in Idaho together.
Moore discussed the guidance she offers her girls in dealing with their father’s health issues with Barrymore.
“I tell my children to meet me where they are. Moore said, “You accept people for who they are right now, not for who they were or what you wish they were. “And from that, there is such beauty and joy and loving and sweetness.”
Speaking to Fox News Digital in May, Rumer updated her dad’s status: “He’s great. Yeah, I’m fine. “Thank you so much for asking,” Rumer said, speaking at the 24th Annual Beverly Hills Film Festival, where her new film, “My Divorce Party,” debuted.
“I think, for me, through this experience, what’s been so incredible is my dad is so beloved, and that’s been so evident in the transparency with which we’ve been sharing,” she said.
