Cheney accused members of her party of encouraging racial hatred in the aftermath of a tragic attack.
Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), a member of the Republican Party, is accusing the leadership of her party of fostering a climate in which hate crimes can thrive in the United States. At least five people were killed in the attack that took place in Buffalo, New York, the week before.
Cheney took to Twitter a few days after an alleged mass shooting in which ten people were killed and three more were injured at a grocery store committed by a man called Payton Gendron, in which Cheney blamed fellow Republicans for the attack.
