After stabbing one Michael aka Dream Chaser, who is said to be Abu Abel’s younger brother, Obimzy Records ‘ CEO in Dubai, Singer Davido was arrested in the early hours of today, according to InstaBlog9ja.
The incident occurred inside an elevator at Crab Market, Emirates Financial Towers, Dubai, according to multiple reports.
It was noticed that pressure rose when the victim tried to communicate inside the elevator with an apparently tipsy Davido, but he took it wrongly and smashed a bottle on his head.
The cops were later called in and the singer was whisked away about 7 am, while the victim was rushed to the hospital in Kuwait, Deira. Davido’s boss, Asa, due to the incident missed his scheduled flight.

His company has since taken over the social media pages of the singer, so it must remain active while the matter is being resolved. Whether the victim is pressing charges or encouraging the police to release Davido remains to be seen.
