On Tuesday, a spokeswoman for the New York Police Department informed the media that a crane that was located in the 52nd Precinct, which serves the Bronx, had collapsed, causing one individual to sustain minor injuries. She was unable to provide any further details.
A video of the fallen construction crane was uploaded to the Citizen app and shared on social media. The footage shows the crane stretched out across a bridge, with at least one vehicle visible crushed beneath it.
