After an intense week of the Roobet Cup, we already know its champion squad, and it is time to look at the performance of some players based on accumulative rating. BIG managed to beat FaZe Clan in the grand final, demonstrating to us the scene of how the professionals have found their best level again.
Nevertheless, throughout the tournament, we have seen great performances by many players from various teams. Below, you can find the top 6 seven players that completely bursted each and every one of its parties.
#1 Dmitriy “sh1ro” Sokolov
Based on the csgo player stats provided by cover.gg, we can see that Dmitriy Sokolov, a 20-year-old Russian AWPer from Cloud9, is unrivaled in this competition. The only ones who come close to him are some of his own teammates.
The young star has shown amazing results throughout this event, scoring the highest rating of 1.36 and remaining consistent at all C9’s battles. Though the American organization didn’t manage to make it to the grand final, it was absolutely not because of “sh1ro”. The shooter was not only the highest-rated at the entire event, but also he had the most AWP kills per round at 0.88, something few can boast of.
#2 Benjamin “blameF” Bremer
Once again, Astralis didn’t manage to secure a place in the grand final. However, it is worth noting the presence of Benjamin “blameF” Bremer in this competition. Thus, the Dane positioned himself as the third-rated player with multi-kills at the entire event. Adding up to this, the shooter had an average of 1.33 rating and 0.17 opening kills per round.
At the moment, “blameF” can offer a good impression as an individual player. However, with this, it is not so clear to us whether he is the right fit for the Astralis squid. We will have to wait to see how they evolve in the IEM Cologne 2022 Play-In stage.
#3 Florian “syrsoN” Rische
This sniper was a fundamental factor for BIG to win the championship. The German organization was expected to be in the upper part of the table at Roobet Cup, but without Florian Rische, the results wouldn’t be the same. Thus, he was proclaimed the MVP of this tournament after taking down FaZe Clan in the grand final. It was the second time in his entire career that he won this award. Beyond obtaining it in 2022, “syrsoN” was chosen as the best shooter of the DreamHack Masters in the spring of 2020.
Although the German shooter was rated fourth-highest player (1.27), he was the best at getting AWP kills per round, with a win rate of 55.4%. In this way, we can see that “syrsoN” had no opponents out there.
#4 Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás
This Hungarian AWPer has not always been a very popular figure in the competitive CS:GO scene. But this year, he has proven himself as a unique player and one of the most important players of Roobet Cup 2022 as a part of the MOUZ squad.
Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás was the player with the most murders of the tournament, ending up with a murder participation of 0.59. In addition, he became an integral part in opening kills at the entire event, with a scarily high success percentage of 78.7%.
#5 Shahar “flameZ” Shushan
Shahar “flameZ” Shushan was a key player for OG in taking down even the biggest opponents in the entire CS:GO scene. After the good results in BLAST Premier Spring Final 2022 (3rd place), this 19-year-old rifler from Israel has proven his worth to the Danish organization in this season.
Once again “flameZ” has had a spectacular performance in Roobet Cup and recorded a high rating of 1.21 throughout the tournament. In this way, Shahar “flameZ” Shushan not only stood out in this event, but also qualified as one of the most dangerous and young AWPers in Counter-Strike.
#6 Helvijs “broky” Saukants
Last but not least, let’s mention an incredible play of Helvijs “broky” Saukants for the iconic FaZe Clan name. In fact, we have seen in “broky” what we expect from him at the entire tournament. The fact is that this 21-year-old shooter broke the record for murders and has made an immeasurable performance. FaZe managed to make it to the grand final of an event mostly by means of him and its in-game leader.
In addition to his 1.20 rating, “broky” managed to be the third player with the most AWP kills per round, only behind “syrsoN” and “sh1ro”. Also, the Latvian shooter had the highest number of clutches 1vX won (10).
