Whiles Christmas is to be fun and merry making, a woman experienced the direct opposite after getting drunk and eventually sexually assaulted.
The sad incident took place outside a pub in Victorian coastal town in the morning according to reports.
Reports indicate that the 24-year-old woman victim visited Portland’s Gordon Hotel for the venue’s back car park where she lost consciousness on December 25, just after 2 am, Victoria Police stated.
Upon regaining consciousness and discovering that she had been raped at 4 am, the woman called emergency services for assistance.

The victim has since been taken to the Portland Base Hospital where further investigation and evaluation is expected to take place. Detectives of sexual crime units offer to call police to anyone who has seen the woman or anything unusual around Bentinck Road, Gore Place or the nearby car park.
