A young man from Cerritos, California, established a new record for speed with which a Rubik’s Cube can be solved. He did it in the least period of time ever recorded.
Max Park, age 21, of Long Beach, California, competed in a tournament hosted by the World Cube Association on June 11 and was able to solve a 3x3x3 cube in 3.13 seconds.
In spite of his severe autism, Park has been competing in Rubik’s Cube tournaments since he was ten years old, and he has consistently defied the odds as a motivated contender.
