Luis Huato Talavera, 31, is accused of several crimes, including elder abuse, abduction, false detention, and home invasion robbery.

After reportedly attacking an elderly man and tying him up in his own house during a home invasion, a guy from California was taken into custody.

The 31-year-old Luis Huato Talavera is accused of several crimes, including elder abuse, abduction, false detention, and home invasion robbery.

According to a news statement from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the event occurred on Thursday just before three o’clock p.m. at a residence in the Woodcrest neighbourhood of Riverside, California, in the 15000 block of Washington Street.

The victim informed deputies that two individuals broke into the house, beat the homeowner, and tied him up before breaking.

The homeowner’s minor injuries were treated on the scene.

An inquiry following the event revealed that the suspects had taken multiple weapons and two cars from the residence.

Later, deputies discovered one of the stolen cars and pursued it. The pursuit stopped when the suspect, Talavera, struck a fence in the 23000 block of Old Road in Perris city. When the car caught fire and was put out by firefighters, Talavera ran away from it. Deputies brought Talavera into custody.

Talavera was arrested and lodged at the Robert Presley Detention Center for the alleged events that transpired during the house invasion.

This week, Richard Moore made his court debut on the alleged 1984 abduction, sexual assault, and homicide of Madeline Garcia.

Detectives in California have taken into custody a guy who, at the age of 19, is accused of sexually abusing and killing an elderly woman in 1984. Before his arrest last month, Richard Moore lived under the nickname “Woody” or “Woody on Fairbanks,” according to the Sacramento News & Review.

Evidence gathered at the location, which was located in Roseville on Atlantic and Branstetter streets, showed that Garcia’s assailant had carried her into an alley, where she had been repeatedly struck to death.
