The President of the United States, Joe Biden, still has a stuffy nose despite having been affected by the coronavirus infection he had.
Following his COVID-19 infection one week ago, President Joe Biden’s physicians provided an update on their patient’s condition on Sunday, stating that the president’s “symptoms continue to improve substantially.”
According to Physician to President Kevin O’Connor, President Biden ended his third full day of therapy with Paxlovid, an antiviral medication that helps prevent major illnesses, on Saturday night. Paxlovid was administered after each of the three full days of treatment.
According to O’Connor, the patient’s predominant complaint at the moment is a sore throat. “There is a good chance that this is caused by lymphoid activation, which is why this finding is encouraging. The frequency of his sneezing, coughing, and general aches and pains have greatly diminished.”
O’Connor said that Biden‘s pulse, blood pressure, respiration rate, and temperature are all normal and that he is not having any difficulty breathing despite the fact that the president’s voice is “a touch deep.” The physician has stated that Biden’s oxygen saturation on room air is “excellent,” and that his lungs are clear of any infections.
