Pamela Maria De La Luz visits Riverside-area nonprofit to witness their work rescuing, treating, and caring for vulnerable cats
LOS ANGELES, CA – AgaveLuz Organic Tequila, the clean, small-batch sipping tequila made from only organic blue agave and natural water, has made a charitable donation to Sierra Pacific Furbabies, a dedicated animal rescue based in the Riverside area of Southern California. The contribution helps support the organization’s life-saving work, which includes rescuing abandoned cats, providing medical care and rehabilitation, and operating a robust trap-neuter-return (TNR) program.
Founded by animal advocate David Loop, Sierra Pacific Furbabies goes far beyond TNR. The organization regularly takes in some of the most vulnerable animals—cats with serious injuries, neurological issues, or advanced illness—and provides them with the care, surgery, and long-term rehabilitation they need to recover and thrive. Many cats who would otherwise be euthanized are given a second chance at life.
Pamela Maria De La Luz, founder of AgaveLuz Organic Tequila, recently visited the facility to meet the team and witness the work firsthand. “I was so moved by what I saw,” said Pamela. “Some of the cats couldn’t even walk when they arrived—and now, because of the love and care they receive here, they can jump, play, and live full lives.
